Organisation
The Board consists of 9 members. Two members are proposed by each of the three participating scientific societies:
- European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery
- European Society of Thoracic Surgeons
- European Society for Cardiovascular Surgery
There are also 3 co-opted members (4). The Secretary (5) does not have a vote.
The Board has become part of the UEMS as the Specialist Section of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery.
